Pick the spot
Choose a flat, firm area close to where the work is. A driveway is the easiest place.
Avoid slopes, edges and soft ground.
Think about the path the truck will take.
Check the access
Look for overhead wires, low branches, gates, parked cars and tight turns. A long container needs a long, clear approach.
Measure the narrowest point.
Send photos to us.
Protect the surface
Lay thick plywood under the rails and beyond. Asphalt softens in heat, and old concrete can crack.
Avoid septic areas and utility covers.
On lawns, use a pad or choose a firmer spot.
Think about neighbors
Let neighbors know the dates. Keep the container out of sight lines and away from shared driveways.
Keep the area tidy.
Ask for cars to be moved on delivery and pickup days.
Plan the loading
Place the container where it is easy to load, with room for a ramp or a door to swing. Keep the path clear.
A shorter walk saves time and effort.
Keep tools and cords out of the way.
Check after pickup
Remove the plywood, sweep the area and look at the surface. Take a photo.
Tell us right away if anything looks off.
Keep boards for the next project.
Choose flat, firm ground close to the work, protect the surface and tell your neighbors.
