Site visit and placement planning for large or tricky projects, with a look at the driveway, the slope, the overhead lines and the truck's path.
Most deliveries do not need a visit, but some do. A steep driveway, a gated community, overhead wires, a soft lawn or a very tight street are all reasons to look before we deliver. A site visit and placement plan checks everything the truck and the container will touch. In Nashville, many homes sit on hills or older streets where a short walk-through prevents a long delay.
We measure the placement area, check the slope and the ground, note the overhead lines and trees and find the best path for the truck. We discuss plywood, cones and how to protect the driveway or lawn. For commercial sites, we also look at the loading dock, traffic flow and neighboring tenants. You get a simple placement plan that shows where the container will go and how the truck will reach it. For simple jobs, photos can do the same thing. Before a visit, mark the spot you have in mind with chalk or cones and note the location of sprinklers, septic covers and utility lines. If gates have codes or hours, share them. On the day, we walk the route the truck will take and the place the container will sit.
